1D Smut as my friend Addy calls it 🙂
I bought this book because it looked so cute. I read “boyfriend. Armenian” and was like 🙌 I am SO sick of the hetorsexual, white, romance. SNOOOOZE! With that in mind, I took this book & ran with it….to the checkout.
“Barakiva avoids stereotypes and chiches to create a sweet prtrait of nascent adolescent love between two boys growing up and finding themselves (with some help from nearby New York City).”- Publisher’s Weekly
By chapter 2, I was hooked! That’s when Alek started to get feelings that he was more interested than just being his friend. 😀 I like when books pick up quickly like that unlike *cough* Stephen King *cough*
AHHHH I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH! It was a such a great Summer/Fall read. It was so cute and everything ended beautifully. Nothing negative to say about it. I don’t want to say too much because I don’t wanna give anything away. I think this book is great for anyone coming to terms with their sexuality AND those who enjoy a great love story. It was one of those books where you get sucked into the story & when it’s over you keep flipping the pages hoping there’s more because it can’t possibly be over. But everything ended well and it didn’t leave you hanging and I can really apprecaite that.
I give it 5/5!! I’m adding it in my top favorites. Seriously, if you’re still torn just buy it & read it. It’s only $9.99. Thank me later.
